An old friend

This week I rediscovered an old playmate: Rubik's brilliant brain teaser, the Cube. It must have been 22 years ago that I last touched it! I was pretty fast with it too in those days. After all these years it took me some time to find out how to set this this little friend straight again, but I've got it now. I'm a bit slower though than I used to be. That sucks. Call me retro if you want, Rubik's Cube is still great fun!!!

Where are my feet?

Three days of running around in the middle of nowhere. It was worth it. I'm talking about the Lowlands festival. It was great to see dEUS back again. Melissa Auf Der Maur was good to see. And there was so much more. I was there to write a review for my newspaper and luckily the weather wasn't too bad. It's just that after two days strolling around in the midst of 52.000 Lowlanders I began to wonder: where are my feet! They were hurting me for some time, but after a while I didn't feel them at all anymore, as if they just weren't there. It was great to be back at what is probably Hollands most lovable festival. And after this I am only counting the days - no, the hours - till my flight to New York. I am leaving September 6. But I know that my heart is already there.
